Wondering what to do next?
- Thanks for the graphics! Check Instagram & the monitors in Tawes to see your work. Think about what you'd change if you were to do it again.
- Start writing, in the Google site, your club profiles as they'll appear on the blog. The write-ups might include how students can join, why students stay involved, and which skills related to the major students hone. If you wonder about any aspect, contact someone listed and inquire, or go to a meeting.
- Work more with Photoshop. Look at the images you have for "Why@UMD English", and crop them or adjust them so that they're sized for Instagram & FaceBook. If you've taken them from another source, add a text layer that attributes the source.
- Look at the "Why@UMD English" postings, and start developing your editing skills:
- Copy the text into another document.
- Edit it: check spelling, check sources, make the language more crisp, break the sentences into phrases or very short sentences. What can you cut? What can you clarify?
- Compile edited versions of all the ones you didn't write, and we'll compare notes on Tuesday or Wednesday.
